Role overview

As a Content Marketing Executive at the Hilton-Baird Group, you will be responsible for developing and executing content that drives engagement, growth and enquiries. You will create compelling content for various B2B audiences throughout different stages of the buying cycle, across various platforms, optimising for SEO, as well as analysing its performance to ensure it meets our marketing goals. Collaborating with the marketing team and other stakeholders, you will help shape and strengthen our brand's voice and maintain a consistent, engaging presence online that supports our marketing objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement content marketing strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and leads.
  • Create high-quality, compelling content for various platforms, including blogs, social media, case studies, website, and email campaigns.
  • Adapt tone, style, and messaging to suit different target audiences and buying stages
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of all marketing materials
  • Work with external agencies to develop content with SEO best practices in mind to improve our digital visibility and organic traffic
  • Monitor content performance, providing analytics and insights to continuously improve effectiveness
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into content creation.
  • Manage and grow social media channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
  • Work with other team members to produce visually appealing and informative content.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts across the business to gather insights and develop authoritative content
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and case studies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify content opportunities

Qualifications

Essential

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a B2B content marketing role
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven ability to translate financial or technical information into clear, compelling content
  • Understanding of different content formats and their application across the buying cycle
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and how to apply them to content creation
  • Experience of creating social media content in a professional services environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with subject matter experts
  • Proficiency with content management systems and Microsoft Office suite

Desirable

  • Experience in financial services or professional services sector
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms
  • Design skills for creating visual content (Creative Cloud) and videos
  • Experience with analytics tools to measure content performance, e.g. web analytics tools such as GA4 and Google Search Console
  • Knowledge of content governance and compliance requirements in regulated sectors
  • Experience with SEO tools, particularly SEMRush.
  • Proficient in producing PowerPoint presentations
