The Role

So, if you’re an experienced Content Marketing Executive with plenty of B2B copywriting and event planning experience, then this role is for you! We’re looking for someone who likes to take risks, creates content that makes people stop scrolling, and pushes the boundaries of what makes a B2B brand stand out.

That said, if you’re already operating at a manager level, bringing strategic thinking, campaign leadership, and a track record of delivering results, we’d love to hear from you too. We’re open to shaping the role and title around the right candidate.

Ideally, you have SEO knowledge (or at least a grip on SEO best practices), and experience writing content for social media, websites, ad campaigns, marketing nurture flows, and sales supporting materials. We don’t mind if you use AI tools along the way, as long as you create a consistent tone of voice reflecting our brand.

When it comes to events, you’ll also thrive! We’re sponsoring more conferences and hosting more webinars this year, and we need a creative and organised mind who can take charge and run with it.

You’ll be working within a growing marketing team under the Head of Content, with lots of opportunities to grow, develop, and expand your skills. Whether that’s as a strong executive stepping up or as a manager ready to lead from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

B2B copywriting

  • Create engaging, on-brand content for the website, social media, thought leadership pieces, reports, case studies and email campaigns (just to name a few).
  • Translate product updates and new functionality into benefits and useful features that resonate with our customers and potential prospects.
  • Work with the Head of Content to develop the organic social media strategy and the Leadership Team’s social presence.
  • Support the Content Team with script writing and podcast supporting copy for our growing multimedia assets.
  • Work alongside the Head of Customer Marketing to turn customer interviews into structured case studies that show the benefits and delivery of Summize’s solution.
  • Collaborate with the leadership, sales, product and implementation teams to create brand-led content that shows the power of working at Summize and our point of difference.

Event organisation

  • Take the charge in executing a planned calendar of in-person and virtual events, such as conferences, webinars and networking events.
  • Create the copy for pre- and post-event marketing assets such as social posts, emails and supporting materials.
  • Work with the marketing team to plan and execute nurture flows, both for pre-event attendance and post-event follow-up.
  • Get creative! Especially for conferences, so that we can maximise the booth space, artwork and merchandise.
  • Coordinate logistics, merchandise and company attendees.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B copywriting, especially social media, website copy and sales supporting materials.
  • Someone who can think outside the box and create great copy that makes you stop scrolling.
  • SEO knowledge and the ability to write content that adheres to SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn.
  • Attention to detail in both copywriting and event planning.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with hands-on experience in executing events.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative attitude.
  • Someone who likes to take part in our Hump Day Treat, where we take it in turns to buy a Wednesday snack for the team.
  • Native or fluent English.
