The Content Marketer creates sources, curates, edits, and manages strategic marketing content. This position reliably and independently produces accurate, on-brand, compelling content that contributes to trackable business goals and aligns with the company's strategic priorities.
What you will be doing
- Write and edit compelling content including SEO-rich web copy, case studies, articles, e-books, emails, social media posts, video scripts, digital ads, and more. This content will drive traffic, engagement, and leads to contribute to customer acquisition and retention.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional marketing team to create and iterate upon a content plan with strategic recommendations for assigned coverage areas. Contribute to the development, maintenance, and growth of the content plan.
- Consult with product and industry subject matter experts to develop messaging into compelling, error-free content that supports revenue growth.
- Adhere to brand standards and editorial governance to ensure all content aligns with the company’s voice, style, and tone.
- Use storytelling techniques to create benefits-focused content that addresses readers’ needs.
- Collaborate with operations teams to measure content performance and ensure alignment with business impact.
- Discover and apply emerging content marketing best practices.
- Provide feedback to team members and possibly to leadership regarding technical abilities.
- Follow all privacy and data security policies, including Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy.

- Significant experience in related fields such as content marketing, communications, or writing.

- Effective editing skills.
- Proficiency with AP Style.
- Up to 5% travel required.
- Equivalent education and experience to perform the principal duties of the job.
