Job description

RemoteStar is looking for an enthusiastic Content Writer to write both long and short-form copy across various digital media platforms. This role is for someone who is passionate about writing and fueled by delivering exceptional copy.

Location - Cardiff, UK - 5 days office

As our Content Writer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Writing copy for content including blog posts, social media copy, emails, website copy, print
  • Liaising and collaborating with our creative and marketing team
  • Identifying customers’ needs and gaps in the current content and recommending new topics
  • Writing and creating SEO-optimized content to boost SERP rankings
  • Working with the development team to update web content reflecting new product features
  • Researching and suggesting timely issues for content, producing topical and engaging material
  • Owning and improving our end-to-end writing processes
  • Meeting tight deadlines to produce quality content
  • Contributing to content measurement to understand engagement and suggest improvements

What do we value?

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in content writing (blogs, articles, social media)
  • Ability to interpret and apply brand essence, positioning, and tone of voice
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of SEO principles and tools
