Job description

About ZAVA

We're on a mission to provide our patients with accessible and dependable healthcare at a fraction of today's cost. Our team of Doctors, Engineers, Customer Support Advisors, Marketers, Product Managers, UX Designers, Pharmacists, and Commercial and Operations Specialists works collaboratively to develop and maintain a digital healthcare platform that suits our patients' needs and schedules.

The pandemic changed our lives, requiring us to find flexible, remote and innovative healthcare solutions to meet our needs during challenging and changeable periods. Many of our patients turned to telemedicine as a convenient solution to getting their healthcare online from the comfort of their homes. By delivering a safe and efficient digital healthcare service, we've provided over 13 million consultations across the UK, Germany, France, and Ireland, enabling millions of people to have essential access to healthcare when they need it most.

It's our motivation to continue fulfilling their needs and to expand further to meet the needs of others, ensuring we're always there with the latest tech, treatments and advice. We're doing more than providing healthcare, we're enabling and empowering people by making healthcare work for them. We’re here because we care about healthcare, and we plan to be the largest digital primary healthcare platform for people across Europe.

About the role

We’re looking for a Marketing Content Manager to help shape and deliver compelling, high-performing content across all UK locales, including our partner services. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Paid, Retention, Organic and Creative to bring campaigns to life and ensure messaging is clear, engaging and aligned with our strategy.

You’ll also collaborate closely with other content team members and lead on cross-locale and cross-channel content initiatives. Your work will help keep our messaging consistent, impactful and patient-focused across the full journey.

You’ll be part of a growing team of more than 10+ content and creative specialists. Together with medical writers, marketing content creators, UX writers and designers, you’ll deliver content that is clear, helpful and human.

This is a hands-on mid-weight role for someone who combines creativity with a sharp eye for performance. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, enjoy collaborating with others and be curious about the role of AI in scaling content creation without compromising quality.

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan, create, and optimise multi-channel marketing content including landing pages, CRM journeys, referral campaigns, and service promotions
  • Tailor messaging for different audiences and UK locales, including partner services
  • Collaborate with Paid, Retention, Organic, and Creative teams to align campaign priorities and messaging
  • Work with the Creative team to develop assets that bring ideas to life
  • Use data to inform content decisions and test variations to improve performance
  • Ensure all content is accurate, user-friendly, medically compliant, and aligned with our tone of voice
  • Contribute to streamlining and scaling content workflows, including the use of AI tools
  • Support the wider content and UX writing team with cross-functional initiatives

Technical skills & experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing content, ideally in healthcare, tech, or another regulated industry
  • Strong copywriting skills across channels, with the ability to adapt for different audiences and formats
  • Experience working on performance-driven campaigns across Paid, CRM, or Organic channels
  • Ability to translate briefs and strategy into effective content that performs
  • Interest in content innovation and AI, with a desire to explore how tools can help scale content
  • Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail
  • Experience adapting content across markets or partner brands is a plus
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working alongside designers, marketers, and product teams

Nice to have, but not at all essential

  • Experience in the healthcare industry or a tech company

Personal qualities

  • Humble; you listen and take on feedback, you are kind and caring to those around you.
  • Inquisitive; you question the status quo, dare to do things differently and explore the possibilities.
  • Resilient; you embrace change and face challenges.
  • Macher; you are innovative and rise above the rest to use your initiative to improve, develop and deliver.
  • Collaborative; you actively share ideas, work together to drive goals as a team.
  • People-focused mentality, you lead the way in incorporating user feedback, behaviours and data to hone your designs.
  • You are compassionate, empathetic and have a passion for your craft. You love what you do and always look to improve and bring that enthusiasm to the team.
