We’re looking for Content Localization Experts with native English (GB) . As ZEN.COM continues to grow globally, our goal is to create localized, culturally resonant, and user-centric content that meets the expectations of our international users. This role is crucial to ensuring that every product experience—from mobile interfaces to support articles—feels natural, accessible, and trustworthy in every market we serve.

Key Responsibilities

Localize and adapt product, marketing, and customer support content from English into target languages, ensuring accurate meaning, appropriate tone , and contextual relevance for each market.

Write clear, concise, and user-centric content for mobile and web interfaces, including microcopy , system messages , calls to action , tooltips , onboarding flows , and error messages , in line with UX writing and accessibility best practices.

Optimize content to drive conversions by crafting effective messaging for key user journeys. Support A/B testing initiatives and apply insights from performance data to improve communication touchpoints.

Review and edit translated content to maintain linguistic quality , consistency , and clarity in accordance with brand voice and tone guidelines .

Create direct user communications such as push notifications , in-app messages , transactional emails , Help Centre articles , and chatbot responses , ensuring consistency across all customer-facing channels.

Collaborate with localization teams , product managers , marketers , designers , and engineers to resolve linguistic challenges and continuously improve localization tools, workflows, and content processes.

Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., generative language models, LLM-enhanced TMS platforms) to support translation , editing , and content ideation processes, ensuring efficiency without compromising quality.

Evaluate and fine-tune AI-generated content for tone, brand alignment, cultural relevance, and linguistic accuracy in the target market.

Identify opportunities to automate repetitive localization tasks (e.g., glossary checks, quality assurance) using AI-based solutions and collaborate with engineering to integrate these into the content pipeline.

Develop, maintain , and document linguistic assets such as glossaries, style guides, terminology libraries, and prompt templates for content generation workflows.

Key Requirements

Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone, style, and voice for different contexts. A deep understanding of linguistic and cultural nuances is essential to ensure content resonates locally.

Proven experience in translation or localization of digital content .

At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in localization , translation, UX writing, or content creation within digital products, including mobile apps , web platforms , emails , or user-facing system messages .

Familiarity with CAT tools , TMS platforms , and localization workflows.

Solid working knowledge of tools such as Localize . Understanding of translation memory , terminology management , and quality assurance processes.

Strong UX awareness and ability to write user-focused content .

Experience crafting microcopy , CTAs , onboarding flows , error messages , and other UX components. Content should guide, inform, and empower users while aligning with design and product goals.

Demonstrated ability to work with AI-supported content tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Deeply Write, Writer, Jasper) and assess when to augment, rewrite, or discard AI-generated content.

Comfortable with adapting AI prompt engineering techniques to enhance consistency, tone, and productivity across localized assets.

Attention to detail and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams . High level of linguistic accuracy and consistency . Comfortable working with product managers, designers, marketers, and engineers in a fast-paced, international environment.

Please include a portfolio or selected writing samples featuring mobile UX microcopy —such as onboarding flows, CTAs, tooltips, empty states, and error messages. We’re especially interested in examples where you’ve iterated content using AI tools or tested multiple content variants.
