Job summary

Pets at Home is seeking a Content Manager to lead our owned channels, delivering expert, engaging content for millions of pet owners across our platforms.

Working with the Senior Content & Social Media Manager, you’ll shape editorial direction for Pets Talk, Pets Magazine and YouTube, plan content, commission pieces, and optimize performance through SEO, audience insights and AI tools, building trust in our brand.

Qualifications

• Proven content strategy and storytelling experience.
• Experience managing editorial calendars and multi-channel plans.
• Experience with YouTube, video content, publishing or content marketing.
• Knowledge of the pet care sector is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Shape editorial direction for owned channels and develop content plans.
• Coordinate with teams to commission content and manage publishing.
• Optimize content performance using SEO, audience insights and emerging AI tools.
• Collaborate with Marketing, CRM, Commercial and Pets Foundation teams to deliver engaging content.
• Explore video, audio and emerging formats to reach pet owners.
