We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented French Content Executive to join our dynamic team. This role involves creating, maintaining, and optimising French-language content across multiple platforms, ensuring high-quality and engaging materials for our audience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital content, translation skills, and front-end site management, along with a passion for sports and betting.
Key Responsibilities:
Upload and manage our sites - ensure relevant betting content is displayed.
Conduct rigorous testing and improvements on all site content to enhance user experience.
Translate English content into French, following internal documentation (Glossary, Tone of voice etc).
Collaborate with key departments (Promotions, CRM, SEO) to develop tailored and engaging content for different markets and brands.
Analyse website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Looker to drive content strategy and enhance user engagement, creating custom reports.
Create blog-style content relevant to sports betting, casino and branding.
Transform text documents into HTML files for web publishing.
Conduct front-end site maintenance, ensuring smooth operation and content accuracy.
Optimise customer betting options by refining and updating relevant content.
Participate in occasional weekend shifts (approximately once every four weeks) as required.
Requirements:
Fluent French speaker with excellent writing and grammar skills.
Creative with strong determination to succeed.
Data-driven mindset with an analytical approach to content performance.
Experience with WordPress and ability to manage content on multiple sites.
Basic HTML skills for content formatting and updates.
Experience working with CMS platforms and uploading content.
Enthusiastic personality with a can-do attitude.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Flexibility to work some weekend shifts as required.
Team player who can collaborate across departments.
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Looker for content analysis and reporting.
Understanding of SEO principles and ability to optimise content for search rankings.
Experience in localisation of content for foreign markets (preferably Africa).
Knowledge or interest in sports and betting is highly desirable.
