Job Description

L&G's Corporate Affairs team is responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality content that reflects our brand and purpose. As a Content Executive, you’ll help bring our stories to life across multiple channels and formats, supporting strategic communications and collaborating with teams across the business. This is a great opportunity to develop your creative skills and contribute to meaningful campaigns in a supportive and inclusive environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the Content Manager with the delivery of the content plan by creating assets for a range of audiences and channels in support of the overall strategy
• Collaborating across the business to brief and develop creative and cost-effective content and activity, optimising and repurposing to maximise reach and ROI
• Ensuring assets are aligned to our brand attributes and identity
• Collaborating with colleagues and key stakeholders to understand the impact of content, formats and campaigns – using these insights to refine and tailor approaches to specific channels or audiences where needed
• Undertaking the relevant content and production related administrative duties and activities as required to support the delivery of the CA strategy
• Contributing to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and a collaborative team culture across Corporate Affairs in line with the company strategy
• Ensuring communications are clear, fair, and not misleading and are fully compliant with any rules and guidance issued by the relevant regulators, including relevant data protection legislation
• Tailoring communications to take into account the characteristics of the customers intended to receive the communication and ensure where appropriate communications are reviewed and approved by individuals who have the appropriate knowledge, skills, and expertise, and that such approval is recorded

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

• High-level of literacy
• Excellent eye for design and visual communication
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal English skills
• Good verbal communication and presentation skills
• Experience of and ability to adapt to change
• Working knowledge of systems such as Microsoft Office, a CMS, Teams, Sharepoint, Hootsuite etc
• An understanding of the role of audience
• Preferably some experience of working in a communications or marketing function or creative agency
• Experience of delivering content in written, audio and video formats
• Organised with strong attention to detail and proven ability to plan and manage projects
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage productively with stakeholders, colleagues and external partners
