Job summary

Mercator in Fareham is seeking an editorially strong Content Editor & Multimedia Writer to produce engaging content across our publications, websites, newsletters, social media channels, events, webinars and podcasts.

This is a writing-led role. The successful candidate will research topics, conduct interviews, develop editorial angles and deliver publication-quality content for professional audiences, across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• This is a writing-led role requiring research, interviews and editorial angle development.
• Able to adapt content for websites, newsletters and social media.
• Experience producing publication-quality content across websites, newsletters, events and podcasts.
• Experience in journalism, copywriting or publications-focused roles.

Responsibilities

• Research, write and edit high-quality content for websites, newsletters and campaigns.
• Conduct interviews with industry professionals, speakers and customers.
• Develop editorial content including articles, features, opinion pieces, Q&As, case studies and event coverage.
• Create content plans and calendars to support audience engagement and business objectives.
• Adapt content for social media, emails, webinars and other digital channels.
• Collaborate with editorial, marketing and commercial teams to align content with priorities.
• Monitor content performance and maintain high editorial quality.
