Over the past 11 years, Salesforce Ben has grown into a media powerhouse in the Salesforce ecosystem, engaging millions of Salesforce professionals every month with fresh content, industry insights, and events. With a vibrant culture driven by passion, creativity, innovation, and growth, we’re revolutionising the way technology professionals interact with content.

As a Content Editor, you will be responsible for the overall “readiness” of an article before it is published on our site. This means ensuring that content meets our standards and guidelines, while maintaining the voice and perspective of individual contributors.

Salesforce Ben is a bootstrapped company with over 30 employees located around Europe, and an office based in Shoreditch, London. As we have no investors, we focus on sustainable, long-lasting growth and company fundamentals, ensuring the well-being and professional growth of our employees.

Salary range: £24,000-£25,000 (per annum)

Responsibilities

• Content reviewing: Proofreading and editing, including checking the formatting, spelling and grammar, internal linking, overall flow, and readability of content in accordance with our editorial style guide.
• SEO optimisation: Optimising content for specific keywords, taking into account SEO best practices, and crafting meta descriptions.
• Caption writing: Creating on-brand captions to promote written articles via social media and email campaigns.
• Community building: Liaising with guest contributors, assisting with queries, and onboarding new authors.
• Overall quality control: Ensuring that content across the site adheres to our style guide.
  
  

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have:

• Achieved (or to be on track to achieve) a 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in English, Creative Writing, or Journalism.
• A passion for reading and writing with a love of language.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A balance of analytical and creative thinking.
• Good relationship-building skills, with the ability to liaise effectively both internally and externally.
• Strong organisation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• The capacity to travel to London twice a month, with expenses covered if they live far from London.
