Job Title: Content Designer (12-Month FTC/Secondment)

Location: Bristol or Leeds

Grade: E

Hours: Full-Time

Duration: 12 months

Work Pattern: Hybrid, with at least two days per week in the office

About this opportunity

We are seeking a Content Designer to enhance our digital experiences. You will be responsible for the copy, tone, and personality of our apps and websites, ensuring they are engaging, accessible, and customer-focused. Working within a new design squad, you will combine research insights with clear, people-centered language to improve customer interactions.

You will collaborate closely with product teams, provide and receive feedback, and develop success metrics. Your role includes:

  • Creating engaging, readable, and accessible content
  • Developing empathy for customer needs and challenges
  • Owning content as the subject matter expert in an agile environment
  • Strategically evolving conversational content and linking experiences
  • Sharing expertise to influence overall design approaches
  • Ensuring consistency across topics and touchpoints
  • Demonstrating how effective writing benefits customers
What you'll need
  • Experience working in complex environments, ideally financial services
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to write in multiple tones of voice on-brand
  • Confidence in crafting concise, clear, and consistent copy across channels
