Content Designer - Newcastle

Role:

Content Designer

Location:

Newcastle (3 days a week hybrid)

Note:

Due to the nature of client work, you will need to undergo a Security Clearance process, requiring 5+ years UK address history at application.

Team:

Collaborate within multidisciplinary Scrum teams to create user-centered digital content.

Responsibilities:
  • Create high-quality, accessible content across platforms.
  • Lead content design activities with a user-centered approach.
  • Utilize data and research to inform content decisions.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and team members.
  • Understand and improve user journeys through UX writing.
  • Report and present work to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and accessibility standards.
  • Work independently within Agile teams.
Essential Skills:
  • Experience in UX Writing or Content Design with User-Centered Design principles.
  • Advocacy for user-centered approaches and stakeholder negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with brand tone, style guides, and design patterns.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with GDS design principles.
  • Familiarity with Markdown or HTML.
  • Experience in Agile environments.
