Public Health Scotland is seeking a Content Designer to help us create clear, accessible health information across our digital channels. Working in a scrum, you’ll design user‑focused content, develop with CMS and collaborate with subject matter experts.

You’ll use evidence and analytics to improve content, ensure accessibility, and support digital projects. This hybrid role based in Edinburgh or Glasgow offers flexible working patterns.

Qualifications

• Designing and delivering usable and accessible digital content and using content management systems (CMS).
• Using and interpreting web analytics and user feedback to review and improve digital content.
• Supporting the delivery of digital projects with excellent personal organisation skills including effective work planning.

Responsabilités

• Create, edit and improve content that meets user needs and supports Public Health Scotland's objectives.
• Apply user-centred design principles, evidence and insight to develop accessible and inclusive content.
• Work with colleagues across disciplines to design and continuously improve digital services and information.
• Help ensure content meets accessibility, plain language and quality standards.
• Use data, user research and feedback to identify opportunities for content improvement and measure impact.
• Contribute to content governance processes and support good content practices across the organisation.
