Role: Content Designer
Contract Length: 3 months
Location: Hybrid/London, Bristol or Manchester -2-3 days on site (London and Manchester have a good team presence on site)
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: £450 per day
Security Clearance: BPSS

Spinwell is recruiting for a Content Designer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTENT DESIGNER

• Create, improve and manage user-centered content for GOV.UK Chat using analytics, user feedback, user research and other sources of information
• Contribute to and help develop content principles, improvements and templates used on GOV.UK Chat
• Refine the user onboarding journey and in product guidance for GOV.UK Chat
• Improve the way GOV.UK Chat is framed and the product is explained to the user
• Identify the needs of users, write user stories, design content plans, create and publish content
• Identity and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
• Develop and apply content and format strategies with support from a senior content designer
• Contribute to the cross-government and client content community

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE CONTENT DESIGNER

• Content design: you should be great at creating, improving and publishing user-centred content. You should have experience of working with content publishing systems
• Using insights and analytics: you should know how to use analytics, user feedback, user research and other sources of information to make decisions about content and how to improve it
• Stakeholder management: you should have considerable experience of working with stakeholders / clients to understand their issues while maintaining content quality
• Prioritisation:you should have experience of project management, including the ability to coordinate a number of projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities. You should know how to work to tight deadlines and under pressure while ensuring attention to detail
• Improving ways of working: you should know how to develop and implement content strategies, as well as helping to improve processes
