Content Creator & Social Media Manager

Full-time | Salary: Based on experience

Are you ready to make a difference in women's lives and join a trailblazing company in the sports bra industry? MAAREE, a female-empowering brand, is looking for a passionate Content Creator & Social Media Manager to join our growing team.

How will you be supporting women?

• Work with the Founder to create a comprehensive content and channel strategy that aligns with MAAREE’s brand values and business goals.
• Plan, shoot, and edit cool photos and videos for use across various platforms, with priorities on TikTok and Instagram ensuring a consistent and high-quality presentation.
• Have great storytelling and craft interesting and relevant copy for posts, stories and reels across different platforms.
• Feel confident being on camera for content creation and engagement activities.
• Maintain and enhance MAAREE’s brand voice and identity across all content and social media platforms.

??Manage like a #girlboss:

• Oversee all social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, TikTok Lives), ensuring consistent and engaging content is posted regularly.
• Actively engage with our online community by getting to know them and responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a professional manner.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure MAAREE remains innovative and relevant.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar and marketing calendar to ensure timely and consistent content distribution (inc. any sales) across all platforms.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns that drive engagement, brand awareness, and sales.
• Monitor and lead social media performance metrics, providing insights, recommendations and decisions for improvement.
• Create and execute effective content syndication and distribution strategy

Who we’re looking for

• Someone with experience and passion in content creation and social media, preferably in the sportswear or fashion industry. With a keen interest in women’s sport.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Illustrator, Instagram, TikTok).
• Someone with hands on experience on both TT & IG, knowing the platforms inside out, posting multiple times a day to the necessary platforms.
• Has the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Works both collaboratively within a team and independently.
• Someone who is excited to be a part of a small but growing brand, to join us on our growing journey and make the role their own.
• Someone who always comes to the table with ideas and suggestions.
• Someone who is willing to go above and beyond in their role and looking to build a long-term career.

You will be required to travel, to meet the team, influencers, sponsored teams and events to capture content. Some international travel may also be required. Role is full time but hours and may not keep to the traditional 9-5 when working on special projects.

About MAAREE

MAAREE was launched in 2018 by Mari Thomas, a sports bra tester frustrated by the current offering of sports bras on the market. We started as a one-woman company and have now grown to a small team, so I am looking for someone to help bring a lot of value to the company and to make an instant impact. I am looking for someone who is actively looking to improve on current processes and solutions and to maintain or improve on the customer experience we are proud of and have worked so hard to create to date.

Although this role is advertised as a Content Creator & Social Media Manager role I will be looking for someone who can offer more to really get themselves stuck into the brand to help grow the company and develop the role into their own.
