We have an exciting apprenticeship opportunity as a social media executive, working alongside our Northwest magazine editors to increase our online presence and engagement across all major social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn on the job by gaining hands-on experience in social media management.
- Implement and manage our social media strategy.
- Achieve predefined social media KPIs.
- Create captions for central content posts following our SM playbook guidelines.
- Collaborate with magazine editors to develop monthly content strategies.
- Prepare and upload a monthly social media content schedule.
- Research and identify collaboration opportunities from original magazine content.
- Monitor posts and respond to comments promptly.
- Measure and report on the success of social media campaigns monthly.
- Stay updated with social media best practices and technologies.
- Utilize social media marketing tools available to the business.
- Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimizations.
- Identify and collaborate with local influencers to extend reach.
- Provide feedback on campaign performance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
This role is ideal for someone passionate about media, social media marketing, and influencing.
Requirements include:
- GCSE in Maths (grade 4 or above).
- Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other social platforms.
- Ability to demonstrate social media usage and flair.
- Willingness to learn social media KPIs.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Team player mindset.
The apprenticeship includes training and study time to gain professional skills and knowledge.
