You don’t need a CV to apply. Your passion and natural abilities are what we’ll assess to see if you’re the most suitable for this role.
CTVC are a unique, multi award-winning independent production company specialising in ethical, moral and religious content across TV, Audio and Digital platforms. They are a super creative and energetic team, and their social media content is essential in making sure that their programming and messaging are shared far and wide. We are excited to build our online audience, and the content creator apprenticeship is at the heart of this.
This scheme is designed to equip learners with skills to create engaging, impactful, multi-platform content. It covers tasks like planning and developing creative content, researching target audiences, and creating audio, visual or written content suitable for various platforms.
This is an immersive and varied scheme involving practical and interactive workshops, assignments, and group projects. Apprentices will gain planning and creative skills by developing and presenting pitches and proposals, as well as learn how to record and edit their own video and audio content. They'll also learn the basics and best practices of imaging and photography, social media and search engine optimisation, as well as website creation.
Apprentices from this scheme typically move into roles including Digital Marketer, Marketing Executive, Content Producer, and Social Media Management.
Through the BBC’s Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Agency, you will be hired by the BBC and be placed with CTVC for the duration of your apprenticeship. The BBC will work with CTVC and Bauer Academy to oversee your successful completion on the apprenticeship.
An apprenticeship requires full commitment and discipline from the learner. Alongside experiences and training, there is an expectation of wider self-learning and the requirement to meet learning objectives and deadlines, as outlined by the apprentice standards. Apprentices must show the BBC and CTVC that they are dedicated to accomplishing the knowledge, skills and behaviour requirements outlined in their apprenticeship learning plan.
What will you be doing on the apprenticeship?
Typically, you will spend one day a week completing online or face-to-face learning that supports the role and develops your skills, and four days on-the-job at CTVC.
