Job summary

THG Ingenuity's THG Studios in Manchester is seeking a creative Content Creator to join our growing content team. You’ll produce platform-first content that drives engagement across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and emerging social formats.

Working within ICON, Europe’s largest creative studio, you’ll bring ideas to life from concept to delivery, collaborating with editors, motion designers and project managers to create trend-driven, audience-focused content that supports campaigns.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in content creation or similar role.
• Strong portfolio across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts.
• Experience creating trend-led content with minimal supervision.

Content Creator

About the Role

THG Studios is looking for a creative, trend-savvy Content Creator to join our growing content team. You'll be responsible for creating platform-first content that drives engagement, increases brand visibility, and connects with audiences across social channels.

Working within Europe's largest creative studio, ICON, you'll bring ideas to life from concept through to delivery, producing culturally relevant content tailored for today’s social platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on creator with a passion for storytelling, trends, and social media.

What You’ll Be Doing

Content Creation & Execution:

• Create and deliver content from brief through to final output, ensuring work meets brand and platform requirements.
• Develop engaging content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging social platforms.
• Generate and contribute creative ideas that align with campaign objectives and evolving trends.
• Produce visually compelling, audience-focused content that reflects platform behaviours and best practices.
• Support the testing and development of new content formats, approaches, and ideas.

Creative Standards & Delivery:

• Optimise content for different platforms, ensuring the correct aspect ratios, pacing, and native social experience.
• Maintain a consistent tone, style, and level of quality across all projects.
• Manage multiple briefs and deadlines effectively.
• Follow established briefing, review, and delivery processes to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with Content Creators, Editors, Motion Designers, Producers, and Project Managers to deliver cohesive content.
• Contribute to creative brainstorms, trend reviews, and ideation sessions.
• Collaborate with brand teams to ensure content aligns with campaign objectives and audience needs.
• Support the wider team in delivering best‑in‑class social and campaign content.

What We're Looking For

• 1-2 years' experience in content creation, social media, digital marketing, or a similar role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing work across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or comparable platforms.
• Experience creating high-quality, trend-led content with minimal supervision.
• Strong ideation and hands‑on content creation skills.
• Excellent understanding of social storytelling, platform trends, audience behaviour, and emerging content formats.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A collaborative mindset and the confidence to work across creative and cross‑functional teams.
