Job summary

Job description

Hackney Foodbank is looking for a part time content creator to join our busy team from August 2025 until February 2026. The successful candidate will have experience of increasing engagement on social media, the confidence and ability to film interviews and b-roll and edit them into compelling reels and will have experience on design programmes such as Canva. Experience in the creation of digital campaigns is preferred.

We’re looking for someone with an engaging and concise writing style,a good eye for a compelling story and a drive to get things done. They’ll need to be proactive in telling our story to a broad community and corporate audience. The role will also include admin support, liaising with supporters of the food bank and facilitating fundraising initiatives. The role is based in Homerton but some travel within Hackney will be required.

This role will 21 hours per week. £30,000 p.a. pro rata (actual salary £18,000 p.a.)
