2. Job Description (Content Creator – BeatTheVape)

About BeatTheVape:

BeatTheVape is a youth-led digital health startup on a mission to help 11–18-year-olds quit or avoid vaping. We combine short-form videos, quizzes, mini-games and real-life rewards to drive behaviour change using behavioural science and gamification all co-created with young people.

About the Role:

We’re looking for confident, camera-friendly creators aged 15–25 to help us bring our video scripts to life. You’ll be the face of youth health content viewed by thousands of young people across schools, social media, and our app.

You don’t need professional experience — just energy, authenticity, and the ability to deliver scripted lines in a natural, relatable way. If you’ve made TikToks, Reels, or even school presentations — we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

Record short videos (30–90 secs) based on scripts we provide

Shoot vertically in good lighting and clear audio (smartphone is fine!)

Bring energy, empathy, and clarity to each delivery

Be open to feedback and re-records if needed

Optionally: suggest edits or ways to make content more engaging

What We’re Looking For:

Ages 15–25

Natural speaker with confident on-camera presence

Creative, expressive, and comfortable talking to peers

Interest in youth health, mental wellbeing, or social causes is a bonus

Based in the UK, ideally with understanding of Liverpool youth culture

Diverse backgrounds and accents encouraged — we want real voices

Pay:

This is a paid opportunity. Pay will be in line with the UK National Minimum Wage based on your age and number of videos recorded. We’ll agree on your rate before filming begins.
