Job summary

MJMK Restaurants is seeking a Content Creator to join our team in London. This entry-level role focuses on capturing, producing, and preparing high-quality content across our restaurant brands, with opportunities to learn and grow within a dynamic hospitality group.

You will film and shoot raw material across sites, work with the Content and Social Media Manager, and develop skills in editing and platform-specific content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.

Qualifications

• Creative, organised and curious about content with a love for making content.
• Hands-on experience shooting on camera or with a phone, incl. iPhone cinematic mode/ProRes.
• Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn and what works on each.
• Basic editing skills or willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong organisation to keep footage and kit tidy and easy to find.
• Collaborative attitude to work under direction and support the team.
• Reliable, energetic and able to move between sites filming as needed.
• Interest in food, restaurants and hospitality and the story behind each brand.

Responsibilities

• Shoot photo and video across all our restaurants on brief.
• Capture raw material at each site—dishes, service, teams, events and guests.
• Shoot for formats across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Assist with on-site live content (Stories) under supervision.
• Help with basic edits: cutting footage and simple colour/sound tweaks.
• Log and file raw footage and stills for easy reuse.
• Prepare selects, assets and rough cuts for final editing.
• Support scheduling and posting under supervision, eventually independently.
• Watch for trends and flag ideas for use.
• Keep kit charged and ready; report faults early.

£32,000 to £35,000 (dependent on experience)

Location: Office/site-based, W1W 8DN, London – Full time

MJMK Restaurants is growing, and with new openings planned we have an exciting opportunity for a Content Creator to join our team. This is an entry-level role and a great opportunity to keep a steady stream of fresh, high-quality content coming from across our restaurants.

The Content Creator supports the digital strategy across MJMK. This role works closely with the Content and Social Media Manager by capturing content across our restaurants, filming and shooting raw material, ready to be edited and posted.

It is made for someone early in their content career who lives on Instagram and TikTok, has a good eye, and wants to learn the craft properly inside a busy hospitality group. A background in social media, film, photography or a related creative field would suit it well.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot photo and video on brief across all our restaurants.
• Capture a wide range of raw material at each site, from dishes and service to teams, events and guests, so there is always plenty to work with.
• Shoot for different formats and channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, adapting angles, lighting and framing to suit each one.
• Help capture live, in-the-moment content on site, such as Stories, alongside the Content and Social Media Manager.
• Assist with basic edits, cutting footage down and making simple colour and sound adjustments.
• Log, organise and file raw footage and stills so content is easy to find and reuse.
• Prepare selects, assets and rough cuts for the Content and Social Media Manager to finish.
• Support scheduling and posting under supervision, building towards doing this independently.
• Keep an eye on emerging trends, formats and platform shifts, and flag ideas worth trying.
• Keep kit organised, charged and ready to go, and flag any faults or needs early.

What We're Looking For

• This role will suit someone creative, organised and genuinely curious about content, who wants to learn fast in a busy hospitality environment. You will bring:A good eye for photo and video, and a real love of making content.
• Some hands-on experience shooting on camera or phone, including techniques like iPhone cinematic mode and ProRes, or a real hunger to learn them.
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, and a feel for what works on each.
• Basic editing skills, or the appetite to build them quickly, cutting footage and making simple colour and sound adjustments.
• Strong organisation, keeping footage, stills and kit tidy, labelled and easy to find.
• A collaborative attitude, happy to work under direction and support the wider team.
• Reliability and energy, ready to move between sites and shoot whatever the day needs.
• An interest in food, restaurants and hospitality, and the story behind each brand.

About MJMK Restaurants

MJMK Restaurants owns and operates a collection of award-winning restaurants. Founded in 2018 by lifelong friends Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes, our journey began with Casa do Frango.

In 2020, we partnered with chef patron Santiago Lastra to open KOL, a restaurant in Marylebone celebrating Mexican cuisine with British ingredients. KOL has since earned a Michelin star and been named one of the World's 50 Best Restaurants.
