Job summary

Capgemini is recruiting a Packet Core Test Engineer for a fixed-term six-month role based in Slough with some office presence. You will ensure quality, stability, and readiness of containerized Packet Core for live deployment, testing new releases, and mitigating risks in collaboration with stakeholders and vendors.

The role emphasizes integration testing for 2G–5G Packet Core, containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud-native platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in Integration and/or Test for Mobile Telecoms Packet Core platforms (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G).
• Hands-on testing, packet capture, and diagnostics tools.
• Good understanding of Linux, Container, and Cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support acceptance and integration of software releases of Containerized Mobile Packet Core through the test cycle.
• Test Management, Risk Mitigation, Platform Validation and Stakeholder Communication.
