Container Transport Planner (Nights)

Location: Liverpool

Salary: Up to £46, (DOE)

Are you an experienced Transport Planner/Administrator with a background in Container Operations? Are you looking to advance your career for an established and highly regarded Global Logistics Company? This role could be excellent for you!

Shifts: Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with new and existing customers.
  • Meet transport legislation commitment.
  • Monitor fleet maintenance requirements and liaise with drivers.
  • Daily input of KPI’s, delivery and collection issues, preparing paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Previous Transport Planning Experience.
  • Previous experience working for a UK based Freight Forwarder/Road Transport Company or Shipping Line.
  • Previous experience with Container operations/transport.
  • IT and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Knowledge of the WTD, Drivers Hours, Tachograph and Transport legislation.
  • Ability to thrive in a busy work environment.
