Job summary

Specsavers Colchester is seeking a qualified Contact Lens Optician to join our team. You will carry out contact lens fitting and aftercare, advise customers on lens options, and ensure clear understanding of spectacle dispensing options. You will also manage appointment times and provide insertion/removal instructions to patients.

Applicants must have prior optician experience and a GOC number. In return, we offer a competitive package with a £43,000 base salary plus a £20,000 welcome bonus,

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience working in an optician
• Must have a GOC number

Responsibilities

• Carry out contact lens fitting and aftercare in accordance with company procedures and professional guidelines
• Deal with general enquiries and advise customers on contact lenses
• Ensure customers understand contact lens options for their prescription and advise on spectacle dispensing options including promotions
• Ensure appointment times are efficiently managed and customer waiting time is minimized
• Provide insertion/removal instruction to patients as required
