Key Responsibilities:

  • Partners with Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to build new market entry strategies and industry analysis for H&H key business verticals
  • Leads Analysis of qualitative and quantitative data sources to uncover insights to inform go-to-market strategies into new markets and cross both consumer and expert related channels.
  • Partners with Global and regional teams to maximise business performance.
  • Leads Analysis of multiple data sources and provide recommendations around portfolio choices, assortment, sales channel selection, price and promotion.
  • Lead, deploy and analyse ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative research projects with Global subscription providers, uncovering actionable insights.
  • Robust awareness of the latest available agencies and methodologies that meet our business needs and objectives.
  • Proactive analysis of global category growth trends, identifying business opportunities across our business segments.
  • Consultation on Global NPD and Innovation programs, supporting key projects with strategic insights and market data.
  • Strategic support of brand teams strategic planning processes.
  • Development of regulator reporting and KPI dashboards for key brand metrics as required.
  • Attendance at key industry meeting and online events on behalf of H&H for relevant business insights and market intelligence.
  • Management and continual development of IP projects with key data partners
  • Fosters strong relationships with strategic ingredients partners for innovation development and insights sharing.

Desired Skills and Experience:

To make sure we are setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Commerce or Business Management
  • 5+ years’ experience in category development & insights in an FMCG/consumer goods environment in regional or global context.
  • Experience managing consumer research projects such as U&A, New Market Entry and Concept/Innovation Testing.
  • Experience managing and negotiating contracts with data providers and market research agencies.
  • Experienced in the use of scan data (Nielsen/IRI).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare and confidently present insights and implications across all management levels.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to work across multiple complex projects.
  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills and able to work comfortably cross functionally.
  • Hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office.
  • Note: Our current Office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Occasionally, an extra day in the office will be required for Group Town hall, Events, team meetings, etc.
