Job description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Review originated consumer loans for Quality Control purposes.
  • Ensure proper documentation is received and uploaded to the Loan Origination system.
  • Communicate with other departments on any outstanding issues/concerns.
  • Update loan origination system data accurately and in compliance, maintaining up-to-date notes for management reporting.
  • Continuously educate branch staff on product information, legal requirements, and policy guidelines.
  • Process mail, tickets, and checks.
  • Assist with administrative duties in the office as needed.
  • Support the Compliance Analyst team with HMDA data review, Flood requirements, and regulatory testing as required.
  • Participate in projects and new initiatives as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills for a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and seek assistance when necessary.
  • Effective communication with branches and other departments.
  • Maintain comprehensive application notes throughout the loan process.
  • Ensure compliance with all bank policies and procedures.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned by management.
  • Familiarity with all Consumer Lending products.
Education And Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year banking experience preferred; experience with Home Equity Line of Credit is a plus.
  • Experience processing consumer lending products preferred.
Skills/Knowledge:
  • Excellent communication, organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel).
  • Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
