FQPS Academy Ltd. in the UK is seeking a motivated Paralegal to join the Contract Resolution department in our city centre offices in Bristol, Cardiff or Leeds. The role focuses on consumer contract disputes arising from legal expenses insurance and other civil litigation matters.

You will manage a varied caseload, provide clear legal advice, handle client meetings in person or virtually, and use the firm’s case management system to progress files and handle billing.

Qualifications

• Essential: law degree or CPE conversion (or equivalent).
• Desirable: LPC (or equivalent).
• Experience handling clients and managing deadlines is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Providing clear and concise legal advice on Consumer disputes.
• Managing a caseload of cases for both individual and business clients to conclusion.
• Dealing with clients on the phone and face to face, including virtual meetings.
• Using our case management system to progress files; and
• Billing and invoicing.
• Excellent communication skills including telephone manner.
• Effective people skills and time management.
• Organised approach to work and meeting strict deadlines.
