You.

We are looking for an Account Director to join our Brand, Social & Influencer team. As an Account Director, you'll be in a specialist role across all divisions of one of our biggest clients. Bringing deep technology experience and strong tech media contacts, you’ll be the go-to on the account to drive tech media coverage and run awards and reviews programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing Account Director or Senior Account Manager looking to step up with a passion and smarts for the tech sector.

What you'll do:

  • Clients: Build and leverage deep knowledge of the clients’ objectives and competitive environment to develop clear business cases for engagement to deliver meaningful results and drive impact
  • Strategic Execution: Pull together strong and strategic reports that tell a story (context behind data, and drive daily excellence across launches, press office plan, newsjacking, cultural storytelling – with clear ROI / deliverables
  • Business Development: Communicate account status to agency management regularly; share proactive ideas to team and management to drive client business forward
  • Sector Knowledge: Act as subject matter expert, drawing on strong earned media contacts in the technology space and land exceptional media coverage (including news hijacking)
  • People Focus: Lead a high performing junior team, acting as a real team player in a very fast-paced environment and build quick, strong, client relationships
  • Financial Acumen: Contribute to client growth & One London financial targets (financial growth targets will be set)

  • PR Expertise: A nous for media storytelling and proactivity in the tech space, including knowing what the latest trends in AI are, what competitor brands are doing etc.
  • Collaborative Spirit: You thrive in a team environment, partnering with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to drive success.
  • Passion for DE&I: You understand the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion and are eager to contribute to a workplace where everyone's voice is heard and valued, playing a pivotal role in fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Innovation Mindset: You keep up with emerging trends in social media, influencer marketing, and media relations, applying them creatively to your strategies.
  • Leadership Excellence: A force for good who fosters team collaboration. You don’t work in silos from the wider team and you can manage upwards and downwards, effectively briefing team members on new client asks and oversee execution to meet deadlines
