Job Description:

How we make the difference in Regulatory and Risk

Our Regulatory & Risk Advisory Graduate programme is designed to give you the experience and core consulting skills you need to start your career. You'll build your commercial understanding and business acumen to deliver value to our clients.

The work is interesting, varied, and high profile, especially given the current economic climate and increasing complexity in risk and regulatory issues.

You can expect to work in the following areas:

Modelling and Model Risk Management: Model Risk involves managing adverse outcomes from errors in financial models. You will work on model development, validation, governance, and learn coding languages supporting climate and credit risk modelling.

Financial Risk and Resilience: Support clients in prudential regulation, ESG, and insurance risks, providing assurance, deal support, and optimization services.

Wholesale: Assist wholesale clients with challenges like conduct risk, risk transformation, internal controls, and non-financial reporting regulation.

Retail: Focus on retail clients, addressing conduct, consumer protection, operational resilience, and CASS. Clients vary from global asset managers to insurance and banking sectors.

Growth Opportunities: The three-year program helps build experience across risk management sectors, supporting your pursuit of the FRM certification.

Teams: Work across teams advising on regulatory compliance and integrating sustainability into risk management to make a positive impact.

If you're curious, resilient, and agile, you could thrive with us.

Entry Requirements

We value diverse perspectives and assess your potential through qualifications and qualities. Generally, we expect:

  • GCSE Maths Grade 5 or B*
  • GCSE English Language Grade 5 or B*
  • 120 UCAS points from your top 3 A Levels, excluding General Studies
  • 2:1 undergraduate degree in any discipline

Applicants slightly below these thresholds are encouraged to apply, with assessments considering extenuating circumstances and socio-economic background.

Training and Development

We prioritize your growth through a comprehensive curriculum, including an immersive induction, training courses, leadership sessions, online resources, and networking. Support for the FRM certification is included, with flexible online and in-centre courses, study tools, and mock exams to suit your learning style. The program is designed to build technical knowledge gradually, allowing you to apply learning directly to your work. Travel to training centers may be required, and our hybrid model guide should be reviewed for optimal engagement.
