Job summary

LexisNexis Intellectual Property Solutions is seeking a senior technology leader to act as a technical authority across multiple engineering teams, driving design, development and optimization of complex software and data solutions. You will collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and engineers to deliver scalable products while mentoring teams in best practices.

You will shape architecture, guide development, and work closely with customers and end users to ensure high-quality outcomes.

About the Role

As a senior technology leader, you will serve as a key technical authority across multiple engineering teams, driving the design, development, and optimization of complex software and data solutions. You will collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality products while providing technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance on development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical point of contact for 2 teams.

• Provide design input across a product.

• Work directly with customers and end users.

• Serve as acknowledged “go to” person on coding and technical issues.

Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.

• Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.

• Complete complex bug fixes.

• Design and work with complex data models.

• Mentor lead software developers interested in consultancy on development methodologies and optimization techniques.

All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in C# software development.

• Strong experience designing and developing API-based solutions.

• Solid cloud technology experience, particularly AWS, with Azure or other cloud platforms also relevant.

• Experience contributing to software architecture and technical design.

• Ability to translate high-level architectural direction into practical technical standards and solutions.

• Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to guide and develop engineering teams.

• Strong adaptability and ability to learn and apply evolving engineering and architectural practices.

• Demonstrable AI fluency, with experience using AI tools as part of day-to-day software engineering work.
