About the Role

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Thoughtfully recruit, develop, manage and retain a diverse, remote team of consultants supporting Workday’s applications.
  • Promote a team-oriented, challenging, and innovative work environment.
  • Maintain and improve the consulting onboarding, performance management, and career development processes.
  • Collaborate with Resource Managers and Sales and Engagement Managers to staff engagements effectively and build necessary skills among Workday consulting resources to ensure project success.
  • Drive teams and individuals to achieve high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Ensure consultants adhere to activities, processes, and procedures outlined in Workday’s Implementation methodology.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the organization through leading and participating in internal initiatives.
  • Conduct discovery activities to understand customer requirements, timelines, and scope to accurately estimate projects in functional areas.
  • Deliver service offerings such as Feature Adoption Workshop, Functional Review, Health Check, and Expert Assist to support customer self-sufficiency.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of consulting experience in change management or management consulting.
  • 10+ years of software consulting experience on large, enterprise projects.
  • 4+ years as a people manager or relevant experience leading an implementation team.
  • Workday certification in one or more product areas is required as a condition of employment.

Other Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • 2+ years as a people manager preferred.
  • Capable of influencing and interacting with senior executives, both internally and externally.
  • Leading and influencing large design meetings towards effective and collaborative outcomes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other organizations within Workday.
