Marsh Advisory is seeking a talented individual to lead our construction risk engineering and consulting proposition in the UK. This role will be based in London. This is a unique opportunity to service UK clients and develop a global service proposition for international clients in the London insurance markets. You would join a team of over 1,000 construction professionals across 130 countries.

Marsh Advisory provides strategic advice and innovative solutions across a wide range of risks. The focus for this position will be risk engineering, working with multi-disciplinary teams to support enterprise risk management, PML studies, RFO, claims management, and loss control solutions.

You will be a lead member of our global construction risk advisory team.

We will count on you to:

• Work with clients and colleagues to deliver risk management and insurance support, accurately representing client assets to the insurance market
• Conduct surveys, create underwriting reports, risk improvement recommendations, and loss estimates
• Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver risk assessments and insights
• Build service offerings by working with experts across operational risk, strategic consulting, claims, and analytics
• Improve client safety performance through recommendations and best practices
• Support insurance placement, tenders, and RFPs by liaising with brokers and claims colleagues
• Engage with insurance markets on technical topics
• Develop thought leadership publications on construction risk engineering and safety topics
• Present complex analytical topics to all organizational levels, including senior stakeholders
• Support the development of junior colleagues' skills and knowledge

What you need to have:

• Extensive experience in the construction sector
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar
• Strong communication skills for liaising with senior management and delivering presentations
• Highly organized work ethic to meet deadlines and coordinate site visits across countries
• Advanced engineering skills, including process safety, operations, project management, asset integrity, and emergency response
• Willingness to travel up to 20-30%
