  • Both roles: Reviewing contracts between the public and private sector to identify Key Performance Indicators against which the private sector is assessed;

  • AFM: Support the delivery of lifecycle and FM service advice to clients throughout the whole life cycle of asset life.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work within Excel to analyse large and complex performance data;
  • The ability to work independently and proactively to solve problems, communicate issues and resolve conflict; and
  • A willingness to develop contractual, commercial and data analysis skills and experience to provide effective contract management services to our clients.

We provide a tailored training programme to each Consultant to enable them to build on the skills detailed above and you will gain experience working across a range of projects, with the wider P2G team. There will be opportunities for future progression and career development within P2G.

Our working arrangements are fully home-based with in person training during the induction period, and as and when required. Candidates will also be required to attend meetings on client sites nationally, as the work dictates. We provide support to Consultants to undertake relevant external training.

P2G is a Social Enterprise Partnership formed in 2012 to assist public sector bodies (NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, Government Departments) to assess the performance of private sector contractors delivering outsourced services to the public sector.

We work closely with public sector clients providing commercial, contractual and technical support to ensure service delivery and value for money is achieved across a range of contracts covering the maintenance of Hospitals, Schools and other public sector buildings, the delivery of cleaning, catering and other services critical to the functioning of public services and other outsourced services.

Performance Management

Many of the healthcare, education, housing and emergency services provided within the UK are dependent on supporting services being provided to the NHS, Schools, Councils and Police / Fire Departments by private sector contractors.

The contracts for provision of these supporting services have a collective annual value of over 10 billion pounds and contain detailed performance management regimes, KPIs and payment mechanisms to ensure that the public sector is receiving value for money from private sector suppliers.

P2G assists over 60 public sector clients to manage the performance of these contracts, making sure that services are being delivered to the standards required and ensuring compensation is paid to the public sector where it is not.
