Job description

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Surgeon with a Specialist Interest in Dermatology to join our Dermatology team at Prospect House, Kettering General Hospital. This newly established post is designed to lead and manage the surgical arm of our skin cancer service, with a particular emphasis on lesion clinics and skin surgery.

Our department operates within a dedicated outpatient facility located in a large, modern medical centre. It includes resources for phototherapy, patch testing, and wound care, along with two fully equipped procedure rooms that support a strong focus on dermatological surgery.

The majority of patients diagnosed with skin cancer are treated within our department, with more complex cases managed in collaboration with Plastic Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery teams. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated colleague to enhance our surgical services and would particularly welcome applicants whose sub-specialty interests complement and strengthen our existing team.
