Experience Required: Minimum 5 years

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills:

• NetBackup Administration: Deep expertise in Veritas NetBackup – including backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Flex & Access Appliance Management: Hands-on experience with deploying, configuring, and maintaining NetBackup Flex and Access Appliances.
• Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or Python for automating backup tasks, log analysis, and system monitoring.
• Linux & Containerization: Familiarity with Docker-based NetBackup and Linux administration.
• Networking & Storage: Strong grasp of network protocols, storage setups, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Security & Compliance: Knowledge of RBAC, encryption, MFA, AD integration, and tools like CyberArk to ensure secure backup environments.
• Cloud Integration: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for hybrid cloud backup solutions.
• Virtualization: Experience with VMware or similar virtualization platforms.
• Disaster Recovery Planning: Ability to create and implement robust DR strategies.
• Database Backup: Working knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle RMAN.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in Banking or Financial Services environments.
