About the Role:

We are recruiting for the role of Consultant Social Worker in our Practice and Learning Team covering the whole county. We have opportunity for a full-time permanent post and a 9-month fixed term contract (with a potential to review and extend).

The Practice and Learning Hub team offer works to provide strong connections and relationships to practice and with teams.

We support the roll of Warwickshire's Relational Practice Framework and the delivery of training on four elements of practice:

• Restorative Practice
• Safe Uncertainty
• Trauma & Attachment Aware Practice
• Strength of Family
  
  
  

We lead on delivery of the Newly Qualified Social Work (NQSW) Programme and Social Work Apprenticeships. We support NQSW and Apprentices in practice.

We offer a range of accessible practice and learning opportunities to all practitioners and Multi Agency partners on key areas of practice which include Neglect, Domestic Abuse, Child Protection and Safeguarding.

We support teams to access resources, bitesize learning opportunities, facilitation of group supervision and learning sets, co-ordination of webinars and delivery of formal training.

We deliver the Designated Safeguarding Lead Training to Education Providers.

Key Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced Social Worker:

• with excellent communication skills and a good breadth of knowledge of practice within Children and Families.
• with significant practice experience combined with experience of supporting others through delivery of training or learning opportunities.
• We are interested in candidates who have a Practice Education qualification.
• Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be creative, professional, flexible and adaptable with the ability to think on your feet.
• Have good presentation, IT and communication skills
• Ability to travel across County to delivering practice and learning opportunities and meet with Social Work Apprentices and NQSW.
  
  
  

Applicants for the role will need a professional Social Work qualification and Social Work England Registration.
