(Inclusive of 1.19PA Acute Medical Receiving based Belford Hospital)
Due to a realignment of current PAs with the Respiratory Consultant team, we have an opportunity for a 0.719WTE Consultant Respiratory Physician, based at Raigmore Hospital (inclusive of 1PA Acute Medical Receiving at the Belford Hospital, Fort William). This post works on a 1:10 ward cover (including a Saturday morning) and shares the week with another consultant when allocated to the ward, with an allocated half-day in-lieu for covering the weekend. The other weeks, the postholder works a second consultant rota (covering IURs, e-vetting and Consultant point of contact) and separately, covers outpatient clinics and potentially a bronchoscopy list.
