Job description
Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward‑thinking Consultant Radiologist specialising in GI imaging to join our expanding team at Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, St Richard's Hospital, Chichester or Worthing Hospital. The role requires a thorough grounding in clinical radiology, including ultrasound and cross‑sectional skills, in addition to subspecialty specialist knowledge. An interest in paediatric imaging is desirable as we enhance our paediatric imaging pathways.

Clinical Duties
  • General elective and acute (hot) reporting
  • General ultrasound lists
  • Sub‑speciality GI reporting (including responsibility for extended‑scope radiographers specialising in GI fluoroscopy procedures)
  • Supervision of radiology trainees
  • Participation in multidisciplinary meetings (MDMs)
  • Participation in general radiologist on‑call service
  • Skills in EUS are desirable but not essential for the post
