Job summary

James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Radiologist to cover diagnostic and interventional imaging. The post involves reporting across plain film, ultrasound, CT, MRI and fluoroscopy, plus emergency imaging, cancer pathways, screening and MDT work.

The appointee will complement existing special interests and participate in teaching, governance, audits and departmental development within a teaching hospital setting.

Qualifications

• MBBS or basic medical degree is required.
• FRCR or equivalent qualification is required.
• Full GMC registration and Specialist Register entry or CCT in Radiology, or an agreed date within 6 months of interview.

Responsibilities

• Reporting across plain film, ultrasound, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy and image-guided intervention.
• Provide emergency and acute imaging services.
• Contribute to cancer pathways and Faster Diagnostic Pathway services.
