Applications are invited for the post of Consultant in Diagnostic Radiology.

We are seeking candidates for diagnostic radiology duties with special interest in Neuroradiology, Head and Neck radiology and Chest radiology, working within multi-disciplinary teams to provide a quality service.

These are replacement posts, available with illustrative job plans of 10 programmed activities: 8 Direct Clinical care sessions; one SPA session and a further SPA session of agreed supporting professional activities or direct clinical care according to candidate’s preference.

These are full-time posts, however, anyone wishing to work part-time will be considered.

These posts are based in Tayside with sessional commitments in Stracathro or Perth Royal Infirmary. Currently the diagnostic radiology on-call frequency for this post is 1 in 15. A separate on-call rota for Interventional procedures is provided by Tayside Interventional Radiologists based in Ninewells Hospital.

Applicants must be on the Specialist Register or be within 6 months of the anticipated award of CCT or CESR(CP) at the time of interview for the post. Interview date is 30th July.
