Provide strategic and clinical leadership to the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and ensure clinical governance for all activities related to psychological interventions.
Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based programs for Applied Behaviour Analysis and positive behavioural support.
Implement systems to embed positive approaches to challenging behaviour into the organisation's culture.
Work closely with education staff to integrate clinical input with educational delivery, supporting identified learning outcomes for young people.
Ensure compliance with the Mental Capacity Act code of practice and provide expertise in capacity assessments for clinical decision-making.
Offer specialised psychological assessment and therapy for individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
Provide expert consultation and advice to clinical staff on the management and support of individuals with Autism Spectrum Condition across all sites.
Role Requirements:
Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology accredited by the BPS and HCPC registered.
Specialist post-doctoral training and experience in Autism Spectrum Conditions, challenging behaviour, and learning disabilities.
Expertise in providing clinical care across various settings and client groups.
