A leading mental health trust in the UK seeks a Clinical Psychiatrist. The role focuses on providing support and leadership in managing complex mental health cases, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and supervising trainees. The successful candidate will hold a Medical Degree and MRCPsych, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. The SCMHT team primarily manages patients with established diagnoses of psychotic illness (the Early Intervention in Psychosis Team manages those with first episode, from age 14 - 65), bipolar affective disorder, major depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and individuals deemed to have complex mental health needs.
Clinical role
This is a replacement post. In line with New Ways of Working, the post holder will provide a consultative, supervisory, and supportive role to the multidisciplinary team. The expected caseload is around 330. Most clinical work is clinic-based, but service users may also be seen at home as required. Clinics are held at different sites within a short distance from the base.

Salary: £105,504 to £139,882 per annum, pro-rata.
