Integrated Care System seeks a Clinical Consultant to manage patients with complex mental health needs. The role involves leading a multi-disciplinary team, conducting assessments, and supervising trainees while contributing to service transformation. Candidates must hold a Medical Degree and MRCPsych, demonstrating a commitment to high-quality patient care.
The SCMHT team primarily manages patients with established diagnoses of psychotic illness (the Early Intervention in Psychosis Team manages those with first episodes, from age 14 to 65), bipolar affective disorder, major depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and individuals with complex mental health needs.
Clinical role
This is a replacement post. In line with New Ways of Working, the post holder will provide a consultative, supervisory, and supportive role to the multi-disciplinary team. The expected caseload is around 330. Most clinical work is clinic-based, but service users may also be seen at home as required. Clinics can be at different sites within short distances from the base.

Salary: £105,504 to £139,882 per annum, pro-rata.
