Job summary

Priory Glasgow invites a Visiting Consultant Psychiatry to join our Medical and Psychiatry team. This is a self-employed role based at Priory Hospital Glasgow, with opportunity to manage your own caseload within a supportive, well-regarded private hospital network.

You will assess and treat diverse outpatient and inpatient cases, lead multidisciplinary care, contribute to governance, and expand your private practice while maintaining up-to-date professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must be fully GMC registered with evidence available on request.
• Significant experience in multidisciplinary teams and leadership coordinating care.
• Ability to discharge planning, liaising with commissioners and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work autonomously.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
• Participation in a non-residential, second on-call rota is expected.

Priory Glasgow is looking to recruit a Visiting Consultant Psychiatry to join the team. This is self employed role.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. As Visiting Consultant, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

What you'll bring to the role
