Consultant Psychiatrist - Old Age - Devon/Cornwall - Perm or Locum FTC

Triple West Medical has been appointed by a number of NHS Trusts to help recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist – Old Age on a substantive or Locum FTC basis. Some NHS Trusts can also offer a retention bonus and relocation packages.

Locations include Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Staffordshire, East of England, Midlands and London/South East.

The Trusts provide a range of mental health, learning disability and substance misuse services for their local region. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and friendly department of Psychiatrists whose services include inpatient, community services, specialist services, and emergency services.

You will be required to work with the multidisciplinary teams offering assessment, treatment, and care for patients with time-limited and/or complex mental health disorders. The successful applicant will work closely with other Consultant Psychiatrists in the community team and other teams.

The principal aim of the post is to provide medical leadership to the team, contribute to service development and clinical governance, and be committed to quality improvement. Such medical leadership is pivotal to the success of the teams.

Our Client is happy to issue Certificates of Sponsorship to suitably qualified overseas doctors. GMC registration and relevant experience are essential for this position.
