A healthcare organization in mental health is recruiting a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist to lead liaison mental health services at Walsall Manor Hospital. Candidates must have GMC Registration and experience in managing multidisciplinary teams. The role offers a salary range of £109,725 to £145,478 per year, with opportunities for teaching and service development.
We are recruiting a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist to lead services in the acute hospital setting at Walsall Manor Hospital as part of the Core24 service in the Black Country. This vacancy has arisen as a result of service development in keeping with Core24 requirements.
The post is for a Consultant Psychiatrist in age-independent acute Liaison Psychiatry to cover the acute hospital. The post holder will lead liaison mental health services by working closely with the service manager and a multidisciplinary team comprising nurses, speciality doctors, and psychologists. The post holder will join the peer group of Consultants providing comprehensive mental health services as part of Community Mental Health Teams in each locality. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled clinician who will lead the MDT and who will take keen interest in teaching, training and service development. The post holder will work full time to a 10 PA Job Plan.
