Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed clinician to join NHS Fife in the role of Consultant Psychiatrist in Old Age Psychiatry at Stratheden Hospital, Cupar. The position involves working within a split inpatient and community mental health service covering West Fife. This is a permanent, full-time role (10 PAs).

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies. While the post is full-time, flexible working arrangements will be considered.

You will be supported by a cohesive team of clinicians, participating in CPD, peer supervision, and regular educational events. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic individual capable of leading and managing change, with a focus on developing the non-medical workforce and supporting multidisciplinary team development.

Applicants must be fully registered medical practitioners with MRCPsych or equivalent, and have an appropriate CCT or be eligible within 6 months of the interview date. Support for specialist registration through the CESR process is available.
