Job Description:

The successful candidate will:

  1. Have excellent opportunities for progression and development.
  2. Provide mental health support and care to service users experiencing mental health crises.
  3. Be a key member of the Ward Inpatient Team, acting as the charge nurse for the unit.
  4. Be responsible for the assessment of patients' needs and for planning, implementing, and evaluating the care provided.
  5. Lead shifts on the ward and provide clinical supervision to junior staff members.
  6. Maintain excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  7. Treat patients with fairness and respect, maintaining confidentiality appropriately.
  8. Be fully involved in ward rounds, handovers, and other meetings where patient care is discussed and reviewed.
