Thereis variability to the mental health needs of both areas, as there are pockets ofaffluence with independent schools, as well as areas of deprivation andunemployment.

Thisis a substantive 1.0 WTE Consultant post in the Harrogate Acute HospitalLiaison Service (AHLS). This is a replacement post after the post-holder movedinternally to another Consultant post within TEWV.

AHLScurrently provides a Core-24 Liaison Psychiatry service to Harrogate DistrictHospital. This services sits within the whole systems model in the Harrogate,Hambleton and Richmondshire area.

Main duties of the job

This is a 10PA post withHarrogate AHLS.

This post involves carefor both Working Age Adults (WAA) and Older Adults (OA) and we would thereforeinvite those with dual CCT qualifications as well as single CCT qualifications.In the case of those with single CCT qualifications, we would ensure that thepost-holder would get appropriate support and supervision with a Consultant withan appropriate CCT if required. The post-holder should have appropriate Liaisonexperience and preferably an endorsement in Liaison Psychiatry.
